It is time for the annual YMCA fund raiser Bench-for-a-Cause. (Yes, it was moved out by 5 months this year.)

I will partake again in the max repetitions @ half my body weight competition.

If you could support me, monetarily or in-person cheering, it would be appreciated.

In our community, the zip code you’re born into can determine your future.

That means two kids growing up at the same time – often just a few blocks from one another – wind up living worlds apart, even if their zip codes differ by just one number.

At the Y, we know that a number should never define – or limit – anyone. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to reach their full potential, no matter who you are or where you’re from.

That’s why I’ve joined the YMCA of Greater Charlotte’s cause as a volunteer fundraiser.

Every dollar I raise will go right back to our community, helping sustain programs that can make all the difference – from early learning to college prep, water safety to mentorship, the Y works tirelessly to bring critical services to our neighbors in need.
